Christmas Trees & Wreaths available now! Open “Winter Hours” 10-6 daily
We will be open daily until we sell out of trees- this varies from year to year, but we expect to close around December 15th-18th. We will continue stocking milk, bread & other staples until we close for the season. We may also choose to close early/open late if there is severe weather. Please feel free to call or text 802-289-1852 to make sure we’re on site in the event of bad weather, or email teresajaniszyn@gmail.com. For the most frequent updates (closing date, availability, etc) please check our facebook page.
This year all of our trees are balsam firs from Fox Farm in New Brunswick, Canada. While we have partnered with local growers in the past (and plan to do so in the future), they have faced difficult growing conditions the past several years so we are unable to get VT/NH grown trees this season. We are happy to help get the tree on/in your vehicle and will give you a “fresh cut”. Here are some tips on making sure your tree stays beautiful once you get it home Care tips | National Christmas Tree Association.
We have been busy making our own wreaths! We have a variety of sizes and offer undecorated as well as a range of beautifully decorated ones. They all have handmade bows and their own unique style- some even have battery-operated lights! We also take custom orders for wreaths, stop in the farm stand to order! We are unable to offer roping or kissing balls at this time (someday!)
2026 CSA “Spring Pre-Buy” program- available beginning January 2026
How it works: send us a check for any amount any time between January 2026 and our April 15th deadline, and you will receive gift cards for that amount, plus an additional 15%! For example, send us $200 & receive a $230 gift card. The average CSA purchase is between $250 and $500. Keep in mind we are open from mid-May through mid-December, and you can use your card to purchase any item at the Stand.
What can you use them for? CSA cards work like cash and can be used to purchase ANY item sold at Pete's- including meat, milk, eggs, canned goods, bread, all vegetables & fruits- no item is excluded!
Why do we offer a discount only this time of year? To help offset the cost of seeds, plants, labor & supplies at the beginning of the season. This is a great & flexible way for you to support us just as you would in a CSA model (and you get to choose your own produce!) No late payments will be accepted- funds must be postmarked by April 15th 2026!
Do they expire? No, you can use the card the following season if you have a balance remaining. You can also break your "share" into multiple cards (they make great gifts!), just let us know when you send your check how you would like them divided.
Details for 2026 season: CSA cards are issued as gift cards and can be made in any amount. Because there are no restrictions on what can be purchased, we can only accept cash, check, venmo, or credit cards as payment for CSA (no EBT/SNAP). Cards are not replaceable and should be treated as CASH. They are not refundable, but they do not expire. Checks should be made out to “Pete’s Stand” and mailed to us at Pete’s Stand- 517 Main St., Walpole, NH 03608. If you would like to use venmo, please send funds to @Teresa-Matracia-Janiszyn.
We will mail your CSA card to you once payment is processed or we can hold the card(s) until we open in May. We will hold all cards for all payments received after April 1st, since it is close to our opening day (unless you need for us to mail them- please let us know if this is the case!)
If you have card(s) left over from previous seasons, you may mail them in with your check and we will add your new balance onto your old card(s). Food Pantries, restaurants, daycares are all eligible to purchase CSA cards! You will receive the same 15% as an individual purchasing a CSA share and will still receive wholesale pricing as usual throughout the season!
Please be sure to include a return address to send your card(s) to, a description of how you’d like your share broken up (if you would like it on multiple cards), and let us know if you’d like us to hold your cards until May (if this is the case, please include an email or cell phone number so we can send you a receipt as confirmation your payment was received).
