The Janiszyn Family

Michael Janiszyn

Michael Janiszyn grew up farming alongside his father, Peter Janiszyn. Michael has taught English, Journalism, and American Studies at Springfield High School for over 40 years, and spends his summers at the farm from dawn to dark. Mike’s work ethic and skill are unsurpassed.

John Janiszyn

John grew up working on the farm, and chose farming as his profession in 2001 after returning from college. John has a deep connection to the land and finds farming equal parts physically demanding and spiritually rewarding.

Teresa Janiszyn

Teresa is a transplant from the “Hoosier State” and fell in love with the farm (and John!) in 2007. Teresa studied history at Indiana State University and carries her teaching degree in Social Studies education. Teresa manages the farm stand.
